The Datsusara Gear Bag 62L is our medium sized duffel bag. It has plenty of room to carry gear for the gym or just about any activity, and enough pockets to keep things well organized. Made with our signature hemp. Hemp's natural durability withstands heavy use, it's breathability prevents moisture buildup while the antimicrobial properties work to keep your gear fresher longer without chemical treatments. Built for those who refuse to compromise on quality, and like to keep things clean.

Care
Bag Care: You will likely never need to wash your Datsusara bag as hemp stays naturally clean due to it's antimicrobial and breathing properties. In case you do we recommend you only hand wash in cold water (cold water prevents material shrinkage) and line dry. It is possible to machine wash the bags but it's tricky and we cannot warranty against damage from machine washing. As for the "Nasty bags" (which are synthetic) we recommend washing them however you like but line dry.
Apparel Care: For apparel you can wash however you want. But don't use any bleach as it weakens the hemp, and do keep in mind the hotter the water and dryer setting the more things will shrink.
For new gis we strongly recommend machine washing at least 2-3 times to prevent shedding of the material which occurs naturally with our 100% hemp gis.
Shipping & Returns
Your order will ship within 24 hours (36 hours for international) Monday-Friday excluding holidays and pre-orders (which ship by the date mentioned on the product's page). A tracking number will be sent to your email once the order ships.
North America & Canada US shipments range from 2-7 days of transit time between express and economy shipping. For Canada expect a few days to a few weeks.
Overseas shipments:
For International orders express options range from around 7-10 days and average around 3 weeks with economy. Also please understand that customs in your country may charge import fees (although we value our shipments at a fraction of their retail cost) and delay the shipment at their discretion. Hence delivery times are estimates and while we can't guarantee a delivery date 99.9% of packages reach their destination.
*We only ship to Hong Kong, Vietnam and Ukraine by special request due to frequent fraudulent orders from these countries.
Warranty
Datsusara provides a 3 year warranty on bags and a 1 year warranty on fightwear or apparel against faulty manufacturing. If your item breaks due to a fault in manufacturing while under warranty we will repair or replace it free of charge. Please do remember this does not cover natural wear and tear as any natural fiber will wear over time, faster if you are rough on your gear. Datsusara reserves the right to refuse any warranty claim that it deems to be the consumers fault due to misuse, such as loading up bags with C4 or practicing Jiu Jitsu with badgers. That being said at our discretion we may offer you our wear and tear discount which starts at 30% for year 1, 20% for year two and 10% for year 3.§
Exchanges & Returns: We accept most products in their original, odor-free, unused or unworn condition (with any tags) for up to 30 days from the date of shipment, exceptions are t-shirts, rash guards and underwear (which cannot be returned for sanitary reasons).
You may either receive store credit or a refund, less all shipping costs and a $1 restock fee per item (please understand that we are a small company and it would hurt us greatly if we had to pay for shipping expenses and restocking costs on non defective returns).

Customers praised this durable hemp canvas bag for its exceptional quality, spaciousness, and antimicrobial properties. I'm probably the odd man out here as a traditional martial artist but the bag is perfect for me. I am able to get my shin / instep guards, gi, belt, headgear, all in the main compartment. Gloves fit great on the side pocket and I use the other side for some notebooks and a tablet that I have to carry since I run my own school
The construction is what I expected as well having owned other Datsusara products and the bag has just enough structure to hold it's shape when packed.

I actually downsized from a previous bag I bought from Datsusara and I still have more than enough space for all my gear. The bag is sturdy and has plenty of space for other accessories/spare clothes if you have other stops before or after the gym.
Excellent quality bag. I thought it was too samll wen i opened the box; but after packing it full of gear. T fits eveything i need it too. I put 14oz boxing gloves, 2 fartex thai pads,my shin guards all in the maiin compartment. My focus mitts fit in the side pockets and every other smaller pocket holds myy miscellaneous stuff. I absolutelyy love it.
Glad it's working for you, that's exactly what it was designed for originally. At the time I came up with it, I was training in kickboxing mostly, but with some jiu-jitsu classes and MMA style mixed in as well, so I needed all those spaces to be able to handle the gear set up much like yours. Prompt shipping and an excellent product. The middle sized 62L bag is the perfect size for my mits, shins, gi, and tons of miscellaneous stuff.
High quality bag.. massive amount of space with ample pockets, straps and a bag for dirty items. I fit 2 gis, no-gi gear, 12oz gloves, first aid kit, water and food and STILL have room to spare.. Great for travel, too!
The medium bag 62 Liter is an awkward size. It's too big for my use. And the 29 Liter is too small. I have both. And the bag size is just a little whack. Furthermore I but glass drinking bottles in the side pouches, so they stay upright. This works great for about 5 minutes when the zippers unzip and drop my bottles shattering them. The bags need a redesign. But I appreciate the hemp and overall quality is good. Just needs some tweaks.
Bought this to replace my old gym bag. This gear bag has exceeded my expectations. I really like the quality.
Love this bag! I can fit my shin guards, boxing gloves, 2 styles of MMA gloves, focus mitts, extra changes of clothes, side pockets for mouth guards, phone, etc. It's sturdy and the quality is excellent.
Great bag. Holds everything I need and has plenty of room for my mma stuff as well as my Gi. Bonus it came with a wet bag to stash my dirty laundry for when I’m done training. Seems to be very well built out of high quality durable materials. Over all I’m very satisfied so far.

Exactly as expected
I’m a huge skeptic but was pleasantly surprised when the bag arrived. The photos/videos do not do the bag justice. It looks sleek and feels so premium and durable. The pockets and compartments are perfect for my husband’s Muay Thai gear.
Nice big zippers and lots just enough gym stuff space
I have used the Battle Pack for years and it does not disappoint, but I needed something larger to haul around my work gear and this bad was perfect. Enough pockets to separate items and make them easier to find while still being able to keep the larger items in the big pocket. I highly recommend this bag!

Really great, lightweight, soft, and durable material, expertly stitched together. Half the guys at my bjj academy have asked about it, with at least one other fella buying one for himself. Also took it along as a carry-on during a trip to Inverness, Scotland. Performed flawlessly. Highly recommend!

I purchased this as a gym bag after I received the Datsusara Warrior of Peace bag. Obviously I was impressed with the Warrior of Peace bag and I'm just as impressed with the Gear Bag.
The hemp cotton feels great and it's nice knowing the fabric promotes breathability. It's a nice heavy fabric and don't see it wearing out any time soon.
I probably pack more crap in my gym bad than I should and this bag holds a lot. Fairly surprising because at first glance the bag doesn't look enormous which is a good thing.
There's plenty of pockets and I appreciate the mesh pockets on both sides of he bag to store my wraps and sleeves.
The zippers are quality and slide smoothly. Also nice having the included nasty bag for lifting shoes.

I love this bag. I got it for Jiu Jitsu and it's amazing.
I can put my water bottle on the outside and never have to worry about it spilling inside my bag.
The size is perfect for training, one gi and a change of clothes fit with room to spare. The side pocket is great for sandals my size 12 are almost too big. Shoes would have to be a little smaller I think. For about a week vacation if you pack light it will have enough room. I love all the pockets. I can separate tape, first aid, mouthpiece, phone and wallet.
The nasty bag is such a good addition. Wet clothing goes in there as well as dirty shoes if you're traveling.
I've had the bag for years. Before the redesign
I’ve had this bag for about 4 years, mainly use it to carry powerlifting equipment (knee sleeves, belt, wraps etc...) but I’ve also used it as a carry on for trips anytime I travel. It’s still in great condition. Recently started BJJ and I’ll be using that as an excuse to pick up another bag some time soon, can’t recommend them enough!

I stumbled upon Datsusara while online. I was very intrigued by their products and aesthetic. I currently have a HUGE Ringside Boxing gear bag that fits boxing gloves, MMA gloves, sparring gear, mitts, jump ropes, shoes and dobuk - it's massive, but I've loved its make and size. Then, I saw the Datsusara duffles and I thought it might be nice to have a smaller gear bag, that's also a great bag for not just training equipment, but life stuff, too. I ordered the core bag. When I first pulled it out of the box, I was convinced I had been sent the mini...it didn't at all seem the size of the bag in the video on this site. I was kind of pissed, because I was hoping to go from a cavern to what looked like just a step down...the bag I got was WAY smaller. Once I bothered to check the dimensions, I realized I was at fault for not doing my homework. So, I tried putting my gear in it anyway...AND IT ALL FITS! I only have pared down to one jump rope and no longer carry my not much needed chest protector. The bag itself is fantastic, and well designed...and so small compared to what I had been lugging around. Not only does this bag fit, its function and look are great. I plan to hopefully use it for years.
I purchased my gear bag core in January of 2015 and have been unforgiving to it. Gi’s, yoga, a couple motorcycle trips and endless other adventures. It has held up strong, retains zero odors and is cavernous enough to fit all I could need and more. Great product, great company and has been holding up wonderfully!
Holds 2-3 Gis, rashguards, pretty much everything.
When we first bought the bags they were intended for gear at tournaments. Instead they have grown to the go to bags for all our travel from visiting family and vacations to tournament road trips. It fits it all and helps you keep organized. We have multiple minis and one core bag. Honestly we can pack for 1 adult and 1 child in the core for a full week vacation easily for size. Pro size not needed to pack everything unless you bring the kitchen sink too.
